here it is folks… the crib

My husband has finished the crib, and Sierra-Ruth has slept in her bed two nights in a row now. Walter crafted the crib out of leopard wood (aka lace wood) and the piano hinges are made of solid brass with the closure being cast iron. We are still waiting for a few more pieces of hardware for the doors, but they are on back order until May. Walter and our good friend Rob moved the beautiful bed into her room Saturday. Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions/leave comments! We love the feedback!

About maggieandwalter

We are newly weds that have had quite the adventure. In a nutshell we have gotten engaged, married, and had our first baby all within this past year. Other than being a married couple and parents, we are also makers. The point of this blog is to show the world what we've been up to and how we're continuing to grow - as a couple and as artists.
