My husband has finished the crib, and Sierra-Ruth has slept in her bed two nights in a row now. Walter crafted the crib out of leopard wood (aka lace wood) and the piano hinges are made of solid brass with the closure being cast iron. We are still waiting for a few more pieces of hardware for the doors, but they are on back order until May. Walter and our good friend Rob moved the beautiful bed into her room Saturday.
